Fashion inspiration: Tokyo Streetstyle

Day per day,show per show we notice many people influenced by Tokyo streetstyle fashion, so do I. Such in my sketches as in my style.

So my research for today is for japanese fashion.

It started form the fashionable Harajuku area in the mid of 1990 when Shoichi Aoki (photographer) noticed the change the young people were dressing.

So he created the Fruits (2001) and Fresh Fruits (2005) magazines (photo-books) as a way of offering his photos to the foreign market 

The japanese streetstyle is a mix of both local and foreign labels, extreme and avant-garde. Influenced also from japanese hip hop and Tokyo's club scene.
